Panel Details

Carl Llewellyn (Assistant to Nigel Twiston-Davies) is back again by popular demand. Besides his knowledge of the yard's own runners, Carl will be close to the form of the other big guns at the festival. Prior to becoming involved in training, Carl was a top jumps jockey winning numerous Grade 1 races as well as two Aintree Grand Nationals and Welsh & Scottish Grand Nationals.

Micky Hammond (Trainer) is also back again by popular demand. A former jockey, Micky is now an established trainer in Yorkshire. Micky will have a good opinion on any Northern based runners at the festival and through his contacts in the South will also have news from some of the UK's leading yards.

Andy Gibson will be well known to many who have attended these events in the past.  Andy is a Racing Analyst in the media and a professional punter. He provides his National Hunt service to many racing professionals via his website www.thecheltenhamtrail.com

Ryan Winks is making his debut at this event. Ryan is now assistant trainer with Peter Winks in Yorkshire and was previously a jumps jockey who retired due to injuries and is a big supporter of the Injured Jockeys Fund. Ryan is also established at punditry and last year at the Festival his record included 14 winners and 6 placed horses from the 27 races! You can read more about Ryan here.

Our sponsors for the night will be Star Sports Bookmakers, who will again be represented by Martin 'Lofty' Chapman who will have his own insight for the races as well as any key betting news for the festival.

Our host for the night will be Gareth Leonard (SIS Broadcaster)who will have the task of keeping the panel guests in order as well as keeping their comments focussed and ensuring we get a bit of banter going! Gareth will already be known to those who attended this event for the last two years.
